Jeremy Hyman BIO:
Originally from outside of Boston, Jeremy landed at Monumental Sports & Entertainment after interning in Monumental’s New Media department during the summer of 2011.
Hyman’s background is in Information Technology & Sports Management. He began learning about sports & new media during the summer of 2010, when he drove across the country for two months and visited all 30 MLB Stadiums. Along the way, he met with many digital media executives and discussed what they were utilizing to enhance their brand through new media.
Following the stadium tour, Hyman continued this mission by visiting NBA teams over the winter of 2010, which was where he came across the Wizards.
Hyman currently oversees and updates the content of both the Wizards and Mystics team sites in addition to social media channels. Along with site maintenance, he leads and schedules the production of written, photo and video content for both team sites. Examples include player interviews, team practices, player/coach/team features, photo galleries and game/practice/event highlights. Hyman also leads live coverage for both Wizards and Mystics home games, including in game team site and social media updates, live chats, postgame coverage, etc…
Before working at Monumental Sports & Entertainment, Hyman worked as a graduate assistant in the Sports Information Office at Ithaca College.
